On Saturday, March 10, 2007, the Teen Relationship Conference took place. Rick and Geanie Blazi did a GREAT job speaking about dating and having a safe and healthy relationship between you and your boy/girlfriend. Some of my favorite points were: “…Be open with your date, share your testimony and your convictions with one another. If you can’t feel comfortable doing that, then you’re not ready to date, period!...God has already picked out your future mate, and you should always pray that they will stay pure, and you must do the same! Pray to God also, that you will find the one meant for you…The modern secular world always tells people to follow your heart when it comes to love, but the Bible says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it?”—Jeremiah 17:9, so following your heart will just get you in trouble!
