Summary- TMNT is a movie similar to the old show back in the day with the four turtles back, and ready to go. In this movie, the character April O’Neil goes to Africa to convince the turtle Leonard to come back to New York City and join his brothers. Unfortunately, many surprises wait for him there.
Positive Elements-Teamwork and many different traits are stressed in this movie by Master Splinter. Also, there are no traces of sexual content, alcohol content, or obvious scenes of offensive language in the movie.
Negative Elements- There are acts of selfishness and Jealousy by the turtle Raphael. Also, there are scenes of monsters and different dimensions. Lastly, April and Casey live together, but are not married which can’t be good.
Final Points- This movie has good traits and bad traits. Overall, TMNT should be saved for 8 year olds and older. It’s not a bad movie, in fact it’s sweet! But you just have to watch out for certain things here and there. (TMNT rated PG for animated action violence, some scary cartoon images, and mild langauge)
